Mirrored clone in same body?

Good day

How does one mirror a clone in the same body? Every time I create a clone, FC puts it in a new body. Thank you in advance!

That's not what clones are for, use PartDesign_Mirrored instead

It not possible to have more than one solid in a PD body.

If a mirror of the whole body (such that it remains a single solid,) is needed, then one must select all previous features for the mirror operation.

Using Part mirror will create another object, but it will not be in the same body.

EDIT: You would have been better to change the order to this model, then it is just a case of mirroring the last feature. But you can just mirror the first Pad, see enclosed.

Thank you for this. It helped, but only to a degree. I need to do a polar array now but FC doesn't want to allow me to transform this mirrored object. What is the reason for that and how can I make it work? Seems to be ok when I just draw another sketch and pad it, but arraying mirrored elements seems impossible in these scenarios.

You can't pattern a pattern, you must use multi transform.
