Forum notifications ???

Hi,

despite several posts getting replies on-line , I have not has any notification msgs since 2nd sept 2022.

I have checked that notifications checkbox is checked on releated threads, yet I don't get notified on reply.

I just sent a test message from another server to the address the forum sends to and it got through fine.

I see three reply notifications in my online profile area but no emails were recd.

Is anyone else having notifications issues ?

No problem for me, but it could depend on the forum style?

I'm using prosilver, probably not the best, but at least till 15 sept I have had notifications.

The item:

Someone sends you a private message

I have both checkboxes checked and receive also a notification email.

I don't know if language matter.

From my limited knowledge it could be even a browser setting relative to something related to scripts or cookies probably there is some "dynamic" data exchange, between browser and forum code on the server.

So maybe if you block interactions using some adblocker or similar it could "invalidate" the communication between the browser and the "notification system" but it is only a rough guess.

Maybe a test could be to check the email notifications and be sure that your email client is not putting message in "Spam", in a way or another as very few people are complaining about this service, the forum is working, so probably the problen is on the "client side" and not on the "server side".

Salut.

But I'm not a test people, as my notification is working, but notification for "citation" is another box to be ticked.
