Some ISPs automatically include spam checking, and the end user might not see the spam.

Of course I know nothing of your setup. Just a thought.

My email archive shows replies from this forum going back to 2018. The last one was 3 Sept 2002. Something happened about that time which prevents my getting notifications. I do not recall any problems in the past despite almost 2000 posts.

I have not changed my email provider, email client nor email filters and I am not the only one affected.

My email hosting has all filters OFF and I have local rules set on my email client which redirect to deleted folder, which I check regularly and empty often. I am NOT receiving notifications from the forum.

The forum software has been slow and getting slower. I just counted six seconds to this msg of 7 lines. It seems the forum hosting is struggling.

I just tried to set up a new account using an email account on a different domain..... I'm still waiting for the confirmation email to activate the account !!

That new email redirects to my usual forum address and test emails get through.

Something is screwed up big time. Odd that only a small group are flagging this. Maybe others don't have time to chase this kind of crap.
