Color point without degrees of freedom

Post by f.pdehaan1992 »

I have been working with Inventor at work for several years.
With Inventor, the color of a point that has no more degrees of freedom changes.
Can I also set this up with Freecad?

What did you try? They become green in FreeCAD's Sketcher.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

when the entire sketch is fully constrained they turn green, when the vertex in question is fully constrained but not all of the sketch it turns a lighter tone of red. If this is not the case for you you are most likely using an outdated version of freecad, try using v0.20. You can customize those colors in sketcher's preferences.
