[BIM] Chinese character in a window

Post by pmlee »

I've been playing BIM workbench for some time. And since FreeCAD is such a powerful tool. I begin to wonder whether it is possible to put a Chinese character in a custom window object. Well, here it is:

A Chinese character shown in libreoffice:

Custom window object:

Embed this window in a wall:

The file I've created:
window_font_example.FCStd
(248.94 KiB) Downloaded 37 times
window_font.FCStd
(201.58 KiB) Downloaded 39 times
Enjoy it!!

Normally, this character means long life, if you congratulate grandparents on their birthday. You may use this character.

However, if someone dies at a certain age. This character can mean life time. How long he lived.

Interesting, isn't it ?

People in China are smart. The culture of the Far East is very interesting. Japanese carpentry is very famous. You are woodworking artist?
