My wearable, arm-strapped keyboard designed in FreeCAD

Post by Baranowski »

Reddit thread with video demo: https://v.redd.it/hhym09qjj5q81

The same demo on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8-P9P5Dz6U

Github with design: https://github.com/Baranowski/Viosuo (I know, I know - the quality of that design is an absolute abomination)

That's cool. I assume it is 3D printed? Is it hard to get used to typing that way?

Yes, 3D printed on Ender 3.

It is very, very difficult to learn to type on this thing. Especially since I was designing the layout iteratively by trial-and-error. So all the previous layout designs that I had started learning/experimenting with are making things more confusing for me.

Can you post screenshot of the CAD model(s)?
