Hi it's me, Joachim from Belgium, with a new FreeCAD related project I uploaded on YouTube. I made a racing quad frame in FreeCAD, made molds for it and then made the frame in carbon fiber with those molds.

This is the first time I 3D printed something that utilised the "Curved Shapes" workbench (for the arms of the drone) and although the model has given some difficulties in further boolean operations, I must say that the shapes created were very accurate after checking the 3D prints, so a special thank you to people who are involved in the development of the "Curved Shapes" workbench.

I have been using FreeCAD for a while now for myself and for commissions and ever since I updated my hardware & operating system, I've gotten so much more joy out of using it. I'm still learning a lot through the community and I hope to motivate some of you who have a similar idea to give it a try and make your parts :D
Hereby you can see the recent project of mine in this video (the thumbnail is a bit over the top in my opinion, but I hear that YouTube likes that more):

If you have done something similar as this, I'd love to hear from it :)

Best wishes

Joachim

P.S.: The renders that you see were made with Blender (at the moment I haven't set up FreeCAD for rendering)
