CNC desktop router

Post by adcnc »

I have drawn with FreeCAD and made a CNC router idea was to use easy to get aluminium material.
https://grabcad.com/library/cnc2637-15-desktop-router-1
https://grabcad.com/library/cnc2738-15-desktop-router-1

or you search (google /Yahoo) on CNC2637-15 and CNC2738-15 you can find all the drawings (about 56)
For some reason they do not appear in de library of grabcab.

I made the one with the bearings with home made housings.
The rigidity is due to the profile not the thickness. With a 800W spindle aluminium is easily cut. PCB prints made without levelling.

@Kunda1, thank you for your response.

Hi, can you please attach some images of the model and the final product? + Your About info and maybe some comments on how the experience was for you? All of this added to the first post so folks will see it at the top of this thread. Thanks! ;)
