Here is a quite popular part for the 3018CNC. The ER11 tool holder system, it is a set of the holder, a collet,
and nut. It fits a 5mm shaft of the milling motor and allows due the different bore sizes in the changeable
collets to have a rage of bits mounted. This is a very nice piece of hardware :D .
P.S.: Threads are not displayed!

The animation does not show the proper mounting order!
To mount a bit push first the proper sized collet into the nut!

Achtung Pterodactylus!! Be aware of the big bird :lol: .

It is a 3D puzzle made from a DXF i found years ago on the internet, the file was pure horror made primary out of errors as i remember.
Back than I was using a different CAD program. I remade this little fellow using FreeCAD, the scaling was going well, converting into a
sketch was easy. The validate feature was very helpful! ;) . Extrusion is supported by a Spreadsheet to control the material thickness
and slot width that makes the parts slide into eachother. However i tried to position the parts... Nope i gave up! Inconvenient and time
consuming to say at least. The animated gif was made using the old model converted into a STEP file. Cheers.

P.S. I attached a simple copy for those who are familiar with positioning parts in FreeCAD.

Here is one of my earlier projects. It is a Arcade Joystick. Speciality of this bugger is the capability to serve as a pinball controller,
(because of the buttons on each side). So it is a true Arcade- Pinball- Joystick with 20 buttons and a Sanwa joystick. On the front is a
XLR USB connector mounted, takes a cable like the one on your printer and that's noice :P . It is a frame made like a arcade cabinet,
the top plate and bottom are screwed on. The buttons are like the ones on real pinball and arcade machines the micro switches are as
cheap as ....

Working with hand tools and material from home depot was challenging because of the tight fit of the components. After all everything
went smooth, the Arcade- Pinball- Joystick a full success. If you missed out on Speed Link Competition Pro you are well suited with
this one i am sure!

Parts used:

1. Happy Style Arcade Buttons.
2. Zero Delay USB Encoder (PS3 Compatible).
3. XLR CP30111 B A Gender Change Feed Through Socket.
4. M5 Thread inserts.
5. Some screws and wood.

Pretty nice thread with awesome projects.

Here is my contribution.

My fully working peephole camera that goes mounted hidden inside the house, and not outside like other cameras.

It is easily detachable to access the peephole fast if needed.

The mainboard is a Raspberry Pi Zero W.

I've made a old school drone :mrgreen: .

Just the wing tips are not as they should be, i wish i would have the feature to pull multiple
profiles along multiple sweeps. Maybe next Christmas Santa will have a present code.

This model "Fiesler Fi 103 (FZ 76) V1" is on Wikipedia and it is very poor detailed in form of a
blueprint. I found a plastic model kit manual which i could put to good use.

If you like the applied textures go to the FreeCAD main Menu -> View -> Texture mapping...
