Hi, me has a mug . It seems silly to show off a cylinder, what a mug mostly is. But i am sure you noticed
the embedded writing on the left and right of the mug. It is not about the font! However it is the original font from the
Alien movie. It is shown on the Jacket of the Nostromo crew member, Captain Arthur, Dallas. The font is called
Pump Demi. To achieve the engraving i used the Curves workbench to project the sketch on the surface of the mug.
One side is the original "Sketch_On_Surfece" the oter is a clone, both geometry's have been extruded than cut from
the cylindrical shape. The mug itself is inspired by a French heat resistant mug "ARCOROC FRANCE" from the 80's.
The model is about 7MB.

A tiny update, with the introduction of the image format webp presented by the first animation the display quality
has been raised. Webp animation is made using 60 images the Gif uses only 15.

My fantasy caster wheel . Main body, the metal cage is made with a boolean common,
really easy and fast, the rest of the part shape is a cut. Most labour intensive were both
of the cups which hold the bearing balls yes they look odd and are a quick and dirty job.

Hi, sometimes it is essential to have all parts in a development represented. Not only distances and collisions are to take into account, but also
the assembly process. For smaller home projects tools are not necessary required but often a wrench socket is. The screw or bolt on the other
hand can cause serious design changes. Various bolts are already implemented into FreeCAD in a very comfortable way. Wooden screws are not.
I found a so called universal screw i wonted to have it for my digital projects. After some screwing around in FreeCAD i came up with this...

My universal screw refers to a documentation and is for my use more than sufficient.

Electronics device case/ enclosure. For example for a calculator, multimeter or similar device.
This is done in Part Design, but after doing it I think it would be easier using the Part Module, because of the many booleans.
With embedded mounting posts
The ribbing conforms to the shape of the enclosure
Slanted edges as contact surfaces, locate the two halfs to each other
Gap between halfs for tolerance

What about?

Once the earth was flat... but then i found the "Map sketch to face" feature
Some continents may be missing, the rotation direction could be wrong and
the sketch has been simplified... Well i am still on it, kind of. This project may
be put on hold for now, you have to have priorities!

Here is a project a had a lot fun with, It is a remote controlled plane. I admired this kind of planes at a trade show.
The company that caught my attention was Icarus with their Shokflyer. Back than these planes were just to expensive
to own one! Years later the technology advanced, prizes dropped and i jumped on the DIY train with this build. There
is whole universe at rcgroups.com around this particular build. It is beginner plane and it is build in many sizes. A guy
named Kosh started the whole DIY project i believe.

By the way, it is also a great glider. A nice project for the kids at a smaller scale.

I have to say that it's a good effort to gently improve the current logo. Mind to post it here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=50640. In this way it could be taken into account in the future.

Nice project. It is made of foam, right? Does the propeller always stop in horizontal position? so it won't break on landing?
