Nice project. It is made of foam, right? Does the propeller always stop in horizontal position? so it won't break on landing?
Hey Chrisb, yes the plane is made out of foam, 6mm insulating foam sheet for home constriction. Also known as Depron.
Had the same concern, breaking the prop when landing. The prop doesn't always stop in horizontal position but it never
broke or got damaged in the landing process. To be honest i never landed on concrete or tarmac or any other hard surface.
Guess if the prop is in any other position then horizontal it will turn as soon as it hits a object, further more the prop is
fasten with a rubber, this will also prevent damage...

Thanks for the info. I guess that every additional stuff - mechanical or electronic - which makes the propeller stop horizontally, will add undesired to the weight.

I have to say that it's a good effort to gently improve the current logo. Mind to post it here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=50640. In this way it could be taken into account in the future.
Ok amigo! obrigado pela dica.

Must admit the logo section is well disciplined, strictly follwing the guide lines! Just went there to have a look.
So far this one by Gavinlynas would be my favourite. The green version of this logo is also pretty nice but it
should have the FreeCAD colours.

200 steps per revolution outstanding repeatability. Used in applications like scanners, floppy drives, disk drives, CNC machinery and
most downloaded model on my GrabCAD. Yes it is a Stepper motor, precisely NEMA17 x 40mm about 45cm holding torque @ approximately
2 Amps. Here is the link to this model and some other NEMA17's.

Nema17 x 48mm: https://grabcad.com/library/nema17-x-48-1

FreeCAD's start page with notes option active. Handy feature indeed.

@OficineRobotica does the Notes tab fully work for you? Are the notes kept between FreeCAD sessions? For me (Linux) it still doesn't work, and I can't find what's wrong (something to do with Qt web engine's local storage settings...)

Bare in mind I'm on linkstage3. The notes are kept but the notes panel is always shrinked on restart. It would be nice to habe it remember the dimension. Could you please do something about that? Notes are really useful.
Also linux and AppImage
