A straight forward design in regards to capture certain degree of freedom & surface pressure, the T-Plug.

Repeatable Ornament
I'm surprised how well FreeCAD 0.20.28611 is suited for modeling complex curved bodies. All I needed was the Part and Draft workbench and a self-made macro to sweep along two rails. FreeCAD was able to generate an error-free solid from all objects, which could be rendered perfectly with e.g. Blender (see pictures).

Wow, that is really impressive! I must say, that i am not the artistic type, but this is really really impressive. This is even in a high end commercial CAD with special license modules pretty hard. But with FreeCAD, which is not that good freeform surface modeller,
respect!

Here is a sneak a peek of a abandoned project. I had a toy MUTT for 3D print in mind. Maybe as FreeCAD
progresses i will come back for this project... (probably not).

Hello Community,
I am currently working intensively with generative designs. My goal is to use FreeCAD for projects that I would normally use Rhino's Grasshopper or Blender's Geometry Nodes for. To start with, I have been working on a DualMesh implementation. With the attached scripted FreeCAD object "DualMesh", triangle meshes can be decomposed into their dual representation. If you are interested, simply download the module "DualMesh.py", move it to your macro directory and execute the following code from your FreeCAD terminal (don't forget to start by creating a new FreeCAD document):
The code creates a mesh ellipsoid and generates the corresponding dual mesh as a clean solid. Scaling of the generated elements and extrusion thickness can be varied parametrically via corresponding properties (see figures). This can be done with all triangular meshes from Mesh WB.
