No problem, late reply is better than no reply ;)
Thanks for informations.
How do I check RAM consumption?
Juste have a look at the level of RAM consumption before running your macro and after, once your model is loaded.
Then tell me the additional amount of memory needed. That's just to have an idea, approximately.

I have now, I don't log in to much on the forum sorry. I just added various roof truss sketches. There are I think 6 or 7 different types.

I wrote a python script to draw this. Just extrude from polygon. Total 1290 objects.

Is there someone else work in this area? Like to chat.
Hello, you may want to combine it with my roof tools:

I think we can recognize hip lines and then draw the timber automatically.

Also, if you want to use Linux, you can use XCFEM instead of Frame3DD for analyze and design of frame.

I don't have Linux, but think one can compile Frame3DD from source under Linux.

It's good to have roof plain, haven't seen a demo to draw timber from roof plain, but the other way around, to use roof plain to check if the timber filled the whole void.
