But i think there should not be much problem with hand soldering - i'm assuming it is 1.25mm grid? Just some practice and good equipment.
Also it is simple blinker (or multivibrator if i correctly remember name)?

Thank you. I tried to solder the PCB's twice, yes i did two PCB's. And i could not do it. The main problem was the space between the pins of the transistor. The lack of the silk screen didn't do any favour either.
And yes you are correct it is a multivibrator . That's what my electronic skill level is!

Here is a heat sink with a TO220 component and footprint. Glad i can make the footprint using FreeCAD in the future, cause it was not a pleasant experience fiddling around in KiCAD. It was freaking nightmare! What would not be any time soon for sure!

This is a tensegrity table. The structure is held by strings, which are under tension. The model on top of the table is a "excerpt" from the game Freelancer. It is a spaceship called AP-7031 Barracuda Heavy Fighter, from the Bounty Hunter fraction. The game release is dated AD 2000. And it is still played online thanks to various modifications and adaptation to modern hardware. The table is made in FreeCAD, space ship model is scaled up. You can extract some game models with the program called Milkshape3D.

It is really cool to see some of the models in 3D, specially ones you know from the game .
With some more effort you can have them as a real model on your desk. Thanks to the 3D printer .

Attention Windows 7 Users!

Hey, would like to benefit of the many visitors here to reach all those who are using Windows 7 in addition with the FreeCAD PY310. As i noticed Python 3.10 does not support Windows 7 any more and FreeCAD will not start. A error message appears "missing api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll". It didn't take too long to find and download the DLL- file, but unfortunately the api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll did not work with Win7. I was lucky finding a modified api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll for Blender with the same issue i guess. The modified api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll can be found here: https://github.com/nalexandru/api-ms-win-core-path-HACK

You need the latest release, 0.3.1: https://github.com/nalexandru/api-ms-wi ... K/releases

To make FreeCAD py310 work with Windows 7 you have to copy the files as followed:

64 bit api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll to C:\Windows\System32
32 bit api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll to C:\Windows\SysWOW64

or

64 bit api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll to ...\FreeCAD\bin

Hi community,
the video shows my fork of the node editor pyqt-node-editor (https://github.com/j8sr0230/pyqt-node-editor) as a possible alternative to the well-known PyFlow editor. After some work to integrate pyqt-node-editor into FreeCAD's parametric system in a meaningful way, I am now working on the implementation of FreeCAD-specific nodes.
It shows a revolved part created with a BSPline curve. I modeled the BSpline curve parametrically with the nodes shown. The whole system remains parametric even after manipulating the base curve. I think I will implement my macros step by step as nodes and publish them. As always: Work in progress
