Window Placement Via Spreadsheet

Good evening,

I'm a new user attempting to model a house with approximate dimensions which will be later updated following detailed survey. I have not managed to discover a way to place windows, doors & internal walls dynamically onto the wall, referencing a spreadsheet.

Does anyone know have any pointers as to how this might be accomplished?

Thank you Roy_043, your time & response are much appreciated - spelling out the answer to anyone else reading this.....

Rather than placing the building 'wherever' and referencing dimensions off arbitrary bits of the building (like I will need to do with a tape measure in real life ) - the way to do it is to place a corner of the building on the origin, then use the spreadsheet to offset all the details such as doors, windows and walls from the global origin.

Because the spreadsheet was originally in the plan this is relatively straightforward, please see example below - dims in black font, co-ordinates in green

Now I just need to smarten up my labelling so I don't lose track of what all the dims are....
