FEM and A2Plus workbench Question

Post by SmileyFaceImoji »

I have made a project and assembled it in the A2plus workbench and now I wish to perform a stress analysis on this part though in the parts tree it is being treated as 5 separate parts. Is there a way for me to assemble models in A2Plus the have those assembled parts be treated as one model/body so that I can perform the analysis on the part.

Two things that might work:
1
Open another new document and save it for an A2+ file.
Add your assembly into the new file.
2
Select the Part workbench
Select all the parts in your assembly.
Click the Union icon to combine all the parts into one part.
