Assembly 3: is it possible to fix broken elements for a constraint?

Post by exsolvespacer »

Let's say we have a PointsSymmetric constraint. There are 3 elements under this constraint in the tree view. If, say, the plane element breaks (caused by TNP) can you delete it and select a new plane for the constraint?

I tried doing this but when I click "Assembly->Create element" it says "Invalid element link".

Edit: what I would like to do is very similar to "Right click->Attachment editor" to change the attachment plane of a sketch.

Thanks.

Just select new object you want to use as element and drag it...
