Re: Starting parts
Hi! Last months I have been uploading models to the library on GitHub, for the incoming weeks I'm planning to make several models using the new Configuration table feature. Can I have write access to the repository?
By the way, @berserkdesign, I see you uploaded a folder called 00 electronic-components, do you mind if I move the folders/files to organize the Electronics Parts folder?

Re: Starting parts
Good night to all.
Very nice project!
I'm going to use it offline for a number or reasons, but here is a Parametric HEA profile, if it's handy to someone.
More will follow.
Thank you

Good night!
To the ones who downloaded the Profiles, can you answer if they are good or bad?
Is it what is expected or need changes in some way?
Thank you!

Re: Starting parts
Hi, sorry for not answering before.
I have just open your files and I think they look good, (but I'm not very familiar to beams, specially those big ones) but certainaly I have seen various profiles.
Are you planning to share them on the FreeCAD library, or to an external WB? If so, don't hesitate to do it.
The configuration table does it's job, and actually there are very dew models with configuration table in the library, it could be a good addition.
Re: Starting parts
Now I have little time, but you can share them in the Library, no problem.
When I have time, I'll make more profiles.
It would be good that we can use this kind of configuration in a weldment WB.

Done, here is PR: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-library/pull/400
Maybe the frametools WB suit your needs.
Also the Arch structure seem have HEA, HEB or INP profiles, I don't know how many more profiles are used on big structures.

Thank you hasecilu!
A new Metal WB viewtopic.php?t=72943
and the Dodo WB also could use this kind of profile configurations, don't know if it's possible.
