I will vote for this (again) :
2. Support for multiple meshes
Once this is done, a lot of things can be done and can be added on the script level. I really recommand getting this done first.
multiple meshes is a difficault one to support as it would need significant changes in FEM code on various places and for all solvers which should support ist. Even in the group creating code it needs changes. This is really a big one, but it is doable, for sure.
I am willing to see if I can work on this (even devote some resources), but really have no clue how to start. For example
1. Is this due to limilation of Gmsh ? Or it is because in the beginning of coding, it was just assume that the user will just use one mesh part.
If Gmsh does accept two parts, can't we just throw all parts into Gmsh instead of one each time ?
2. Or is it due to the limitation of FEM solver ? Since FreeCAD do produce multiple meshes, maybe it's just the matter of renumbering all entities of each mesh and combine into one.
3.In either case, which part of the code should be looked into ? What is the data/execution flow in FreeCAD ?
