Re: How to add my CNC bits?
Honestly if you make it that difficult to contribute, this outcome is to be expected. If I had to register and wait a day for approval every time before I can even begin to work on a pull request for a new project on GitHub, I probably would have never created one.
Re: How to add my CNC bits?
I got them with my distribution, perhaps there is a packaging problem.

Re: How to add my CNC bits?
I'm on 0.20 now as you suggested, so I can't use the packaged version for my distro unfortunately. But it's alright, I found them in /tmp/.mount_FreeCAo2sMrW/usr/Mod/Path/Tools/Shape now.
My only issue now is that There doesn't seem to be a shape for those pyramid and V engraving bits:

It's the V-bit tool shape.

But the v-bit tool shape that was in my folder looks nothing alike.
Re: How to add my CNC bits?
To me that looks rather similar. From tip to shaft:
- you have a tip on both. While you may think it is a point on your tools, it sure will not be in reality. You will always have a few µ flat.
- you have a conic part on both
- you have a cylindric part of the tool
- you have the cylindrical shaft
Your tools don't distinguish between the two latter.

Re: How to add my CNC bits?
I have used the V-bit shape successfully with 1/8" engraving bits that look like the ones in your picture. My settings:
Diameter: 3.17 mm
Shank Diameter: 3.17 mm
Tip Diameter: 0.01mm
