[tracker] bugs in the toponaming branch
This thread is to collect bugs and flaws you find in the toponaming branch, see its announcement:
https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=73017
Please report every issue in a separate post to this thread.
To keep the overview, this post will get a list of reported issues and their status (as we e.g. did for the TD development: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 15#p366615).

Re: [tracker] bugs in the toponaming branch
It was suggested to mention this Part TNP discussion: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 91#p636291

Since this thread is to collect particular bugs, can you please describe the bug you found in a new post in a way that it can be reproduced to be fixed?
For info: I mad now the announcement of the first toponaming build:
https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=73017
Please use this build for testing and bug reports (this assures that everybody uses the same code base).
Re: [tracker] bugs in the toponaming branch
Select Part workbench.
Create a sketch, create a rectangle.
Close the sketch.
Extrude the sketch.
Select the top face.

The version I used is built daily from the topo branch on github.

Re: [tracker] bugs in the toponaming branch
I have reproduced this bug using freecad snap (--channel=latest/edge/toponaming).
My result is even more wired because also the x,y position changes after adding a hole to the first sketch:

Really, now there's a surprise...

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: Spock: "...His pattern indicates two-dimensional thinking."
Re: [tracker] bugs in the toponaming branch
Yes I have also seen that this problem doesn't happen with LinkDaily.
To be more precise in both cases (TopoNaming-v1 and LinkDaily) the face name switches from Extrude-face6 to Extrude-face7 when the circle (hole) is added to first sketch.
The difference is that in LinkDaily the support of the second sketch is updated accordingly while in TopoNaming-v1 it is not and it keeps pointing to Extrude-face6.
Re: [tracker] bugs in the toponaming branch
Nope, I did not say that, Nsikak1 said that. I said it in a different thread.
