HI.
When are planed to redactor/improve poliline tool?
I can make sugestions for these tool?
In my workflow the best tool for sketching is the continuous line creation that offer the poliline tool.

Hi,
I had done it on my initial code for tool settings.
But we haven't reimplemented it yet in the new code architecture as it's quite complex we wanted to wait until architecture is finally approved/merged.
Please give us recommandation for polyline. And you can see in my video on tools settings for how it was implemented in my early code if you want a starting point to your reflexion

@abdullah
What do you think about that mockup for the construction mode? I think it's more intuitive than our current dropdown no? And we would keep the same shortcut to swap the mode as it's currently done.
We can also add the icon to the checkboxes as a bonus.

I am sorry if I missed it, but there were some messages about possibly
arranging a downloadable/compiled version of these amazing enhancements.
Did this ever come about? If yes, where is the download site and can a post be pinned
or it linked from the github site?
Given the difficulties of compiling on windows + the number of day-2-day/new users
of FC who are windows based it seems an excellent opportunity of including them
in the testing/development process on a central part of the FC.

There's abdullah's post with the instructions. There you can find a linux snap. No windows build last I heard.
My latest (or last) project: B-spline Construction Project.

Hi @paddle, great to hear that the merge is finally coming. Although it might feel like it took ages it's better to have a great foundation and build up that. As for the mockup I absolutely love it! It reminds me of the Vectorworks mode bar (https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2022/e ... ?agt=index) which is super useful to see at a glance in which mode you are drawing. Something similar for sketcher could work great!

I am sorry I have been absent.

I have read the messages of this thread and I see there is some work to do. I will try to get up to date and think about how to handle feedback and move forward.

Something tells me there has been activity in my absence and that I may not want to actually open github... I will take reintegration slowly.

Better keep you away from "git merge" and "git rebase" till you're ready for this.
