If you want to open a 19 mm wide way, you cannot use the tangent points.
You can explain/realise your idea with a (blue) Slot 19 mm wide (and the sides tangent to the slot).

It does if you select only the lines and not the points. To do so use the right to left box selection. True, a vertical box selection (right to left) for normal lines (crossing the lines between the points). Then selecting blue lines in the ComboView. ---------------------------- -> Feature Request...
