Well, there was a definite policy regarding Techdraw not being backwards, hence the reason for me still having to keep a copy of 0.17 purely for modifying a customer's model and tech drawings even today. the workload to get everything converted is just not worth it.

Please add this git commit 4ed05b1 to be backported in readiness for 0.19.3

I think you need to ping RT, I've tried all sorts to get it working (and failed miserably), I don't think many people compile this branch themselves, hence the lack of feedback!!

There maybe some subtle differences in the code since that was merged but it's a very good start.

Before anyone starts pointing to the C++ code, you would be wise to show that you can compile FreeCAD yourself. You are unlikely to get any code changes accepted unless you can show you've tested it.
