hide no usable icons with context sense can educe toolbar footprint.
For example in part design: if you select an edge some icons are irrellevant like pad, grove, mirror, etc etc but others make sense like chamfer.

it seems that the supported plane for referencing cubes is not perpendicular to spiral axis, it creates a obal efect on cubes pattern

There are a selection window that shows wat you are selected in case you need a line name in sketch and on 3d object

The arc of the diameter / radius can be part of the final dimension limit line.

An idea of behavior; With radius or diameter constraint ISF you select 2 points or line, it can insert the radius constraint or diameter on the flat line. Maibe some separation between constraint and the line is required to not overlap the constraint and the flat line.

Usecase!
You can make master sketch with many profiles, and on part design can select profiles for easy extrude, all with only one sketch.
You need closed profiles or closed sketch regions to select.

I test the auxiliary circles and not working. Lot unnecessary circles and messed sketch.
A simple lineal constraint with some símbol to represent radius or diameter works better.
