Re: 1.0 feature freeze in sight
I cannot imagine a company relying exclusively on version numbers. But I can well imagine that they don't take version numbers <1 into account for looking at them. Exactly, they do not consider it before 1.0. But as 1.0 say ready for production, they may consider it. To be frank, my clients, my for...

Re: stray line in techdraw drawing
Well for some reason double clicking on the line did nothing for me. My fault. Even you posted your version, i have overseen, that this is 0.22main, but not 0.21stable. I noticed the line was identified with a number. It may be that the topological naming problem will hide a wanted line in the futu...

Re: 1.0 feature freeze in sight
To be precise: ... which is not the case for your applications. No, to be precise, it is not ready for 9/10 real production tasks. Go to any mechanic or manufacturer or builder or mechanical engineer (for further processing) with a FreeCAD drawing, the just say gtfo. As said, here this a bubble of ...

How many of the issues you are mentioning are currently filed as issues? Only the auxiliary views, others not. But here often, even here https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?t=87006 today. Here a small example, where one main issue is defined. https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?style=8&...

Re: 1.0 feature freeze in sight
Again, in my opinion it is still a major mistake. TN make no CAD, not even an assembly WB. Technical Drawings makes a CAD, and still you can not make proper technical drawings in FreeCAD without major workarounds. When i do a technical drawing in FreeCAD and in an other CAD, in FreeCAD you need arou...

Re: Forum very very slow (again)
Must be sort of attack. Even today the count is high and new users with similar names (Leon + 3 chars) are created. This is exactly that i saw when it starts to get slow 1 week ago.

Re: weird update behaviour of PartLink Placement List
Just said, i can not help in your specific placement list issue, since i never use it (the creating and maintenance is too complex respectively brittle). Would have done the job in this still simple example of a rectangular array and parallel placement. Yes, in this case an array would work and due ...
