Delete Hatching for Single Face in Section View

With hatching enabled, I want to remove the hatching only from a selected face / part - how is this done? A tedious workaround woul...

Re: Text Comments on 3D views
I think you are looking for labels, which are always rotated to the camera. There are two types of labels in FreeCAD, unfortunately not with a UI / button to create them: Enter this in the FreeCAD Console: Fixed placed annotation: obj=App.ActiveDocument.addObject("App::Annotation","La...

Re: Panel arrangement, overlay system? frustration in 0.22
I also propose to rearrange the default config: Tree on the left, task view with "auto task" on the right, overlay and transparency on. It's so much better than 0.21.2 on my small 12" screen , see for yourself. The task dialog is hidden unless a task is active. Transparency lets me se...

Re: Sketcher - Where are icons Clone, Copy & Move
So one tool but two commands: - copy/move tool: activates the transform array with 0 rows and colums and 0 copies - array tool: activates the transform array with 1 row and 2 columns and maybe 2 copies per default. Kind of how the polygon tool works. There are predefined commands for triangle, squar...

Re: Why aren't the coincident constraints visible?
Select the circle, it should have a coincident constraint with the origin. There is also a related issue on GH: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/issues/11799 A workaround would be if you have the current dev version (https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bundle/releases/tag/weekly-builds) that you se...

Re: Sketcher - Where are icons Clone, Copy & Move
I see. What would be better names?
The new tool can do copy, move, clone (even multiple copies) and create a array with definition of columns and rows. So it replaced all "old" tools with even more functionality.
