Re: Who can help if not Zolko

My (UK) understanding is: "...grown ass man - means the same as "grown", but "ass" is added to belittle the person or thing referenced..." "Grown ass" is part of the "ass" family label of disrespect. Also included are "dumb ass", "laz...

Re: The need for a default assembly workbench

There will be differences, as in FreeCAD "Toponaming issue mitigation" is integrated in steps, but with some abstraction, as behind there have been some discussion and study on how the integration should be done. Better or not in respect to "RT branch" solution, it is different,...

Re: The need for a default assembly workbench

can you please elaborate how that should work? this already exists : variant link . Everything is parametric, meaning that modifications to the original part will propagate to all instances, and the variables that you want to set for each instance must be explicitly declared in the part and set in ...

Re: Calculating a rotation with two parameters?

@freedman So you are adjusting the parameters of a App.Placement(yaw, pitch, roll) not directly manipulating the object the rotateX. rotateY, rotateZ API? Re: is a 0.21 release completely out of question?

I would afraid that there could be just a more change of confusion if there would be 0.20 maintenance branch, 0.21 maintenance branch and 1.0 master branch. Risk would be that 0.21 would have some changes in saved files that would not be compatible with the master/1.0 version. Another risk would be ...

Re: [announcement] first version of Toponaming is ready for testing

Any updates on the toponaming merging? Is there any known bugs left that needs to be fixed first on toponaming branch to continue on next phase of merge, that I assume was a plan to organize a developer meeting?

Re: [Ongoing] Testing Toponaming in upstream FreeCAD

I did some random review of some of the patches by checking some of the ones in development/toponaming branch showed by command git log --oneline 83d0fa6730cf09c921a639d438d7ad821d26e94c...5db5fc3886c4b4038d2203c39ef039e71054bd32 I think the code quality/readability is very good and there is well wr...
