Re: Unreponsive Toolbar and Glitching Display - Version 0.20
I tried disabling Wayland to fix this issue by following this post: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=68839 No luck... Specifically, I disabled wayland in my /etc/gdm3/custom.conf on my host machine, not in the docker container. Now that I think about it, the docker container prob...

Re: Unreponsive Toolbar and Glitching Display - Version 0.20
No issue with Snap edge. I'm going to try installing and building FreeCAD 0.19 in another docker container and see if there are any issues. Edit 1: Clarification: running freecad 'edge' gave this warning message but launched and functions without any problems: connect failed: No such file or directo...

Re: Unreponsive Toolbar and Glitching Display - Version 0.20
Nope. Running FreeCAD 0.19 on snap works just fine. Although, I am getting this error: Adding snap-specific PYTHONPATH to sys.path: /home/eliot/snap/freecad/common/.local/lib/python3.8/site-packages:/snap/freecad/29/lib/python3.8/site-packages:/snap/freecad/29/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages connect f...

Unreponsive Toolbar and Glitching Display - Version 0.20
Hi everyone, I'm trying to run FreeCAD after installing and building it in a docker container. I am able to launch FreeCAD, but currently I am running into a problem when I try to create a new file and just navigate FreeCAD in general. It seems that the rest of the toolbar is unresponsive; so, essen...

Re: Execution Aborted (core dumped) - Ubuntu 22.04
Hello friends, I'm back again. Quick update, I've upgraded from Windows to a Linux OS. This time, I am executing the application in my ubuntu rolling docker container on an Ubuntu 22.04 OS, and I get the following error: Aborted (core dumped) Many of the command log messages I've listed below are id...

Re: FreeCAD Application Execution Aborted - WSL 2 - [SOLVED]
You guys have been crazy helpful. I managed to get FreeCAD up and running after installing and configuring Windows X Server, VcXSrv. Check out the attachment for a photo of a cool rocket engine injector I designed (using SolidWorks) in university that I loaded into FreeCAD! Unfortunately, it is runn...

Re: FreeCAD Application Execution Aborted
Thank you for the quick replies. I believe I am running docker for windows with the WSL backend. I installed docker for windows (Docker Desktop) and now my docker commands work in WSL. The Docker Desktop app's displayed containers, images, and volumes are consistent with what I see on WSL, and in th...

Re: FreeCAD Application Execution Aborted
I've now set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and I've resolved the missing dependencies; thanks for the ldd command. I've posted a txt file of the ldd FreeCAD message log to show that I have in fact linked all of the dependencies to LD_LIBRARY_PATH; yet, I am still getting aborted when I try to launch FreeCAD. ...
