Re: Feature #2526 - seams on round objects
These were my thoughts exactly. The person forwarding me this page hinted that that might not be the case because the seam line won't be forwarded toward coin 3d.

Re: Feature #2526 - seams on round objects
An helpful user on discord sendt me a link to the Anlysissitus site where someone posted a solution to not render the seam.
I can't code and implement this myself but i'll put the link in for someone who can. https://analysissitus.org/forum/index.p ... moval.267/

Re: Feature #2526 - seams on round objects
The "seam" in circular parts is distracting when joining parts together in the new Ondsel assembly WB because the LCS (mate connector) wants to connect to it. I do not have any control over the "seam" location and the seam is not an actual physical feature in the modeled product....

Re: FreeCAD Being Sold for Profit by Microsoft?
It is discounted to €4,99 from €9,99 in the Netherlands
It is published by "appsmedia1" so guess FreeCAD can publish FreeCAD for free in the Microsoft store this would render the for profit companies selling FreeCAD without a viable business model.

Re: Tech draw feature requests
But it doesn't seem to change anything. Inkscape can change it. Just made an extra annotation and removed the A an B labels For the cosmetic thread I needed to draw sketch lines, these first got in the way of the hatching algorithm.
