Could you provide some more detail about what you are trying to do?
There are options for creating parts with multiple configurations, but which method is better will depend on the needs of your project.

I like to make my threaded holes equal to the starting diameter recommended by the Drill/Tap chart. It can save some hassle assuming I got the right number.
