Re: FreeCAD does not update Workbenches

Here is a workaround, adding just a fiew more clicks!

after you check for updates dont press the update button. Just click on the workbench that has to be updated and unistall it.
After that reinstall the workbench, done! As mentioned just a fiew more clicks, no biggie at all.

Cheers.

Re: Creating a Worm and Pinion Gearset

Confirmed: Mission impossible for now. At least using the freecad.gears workbench.
With other words, i also noticed worm and pinion gear does not match taking advantage of the workbench.

Here is where i noticen my model ain't happening. See the image below:

Re: Python 3.10, 3.11... for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2

I am not sure going down the Linux adventure path yet, but to have absolute control over the features and the complete system is tempting! Under this point of view Arch would be the one to choose. Debian is stable and reliable they say... Having the snapper could prevent tears due to cutting edge up...

Now the Python hacked installer is here... If the FreeCAD PY38 will be back soon i am good! Don't ne...
