Re: How should I make a derivative from my theme?

I've heard fo some way of having different branches in parallel in different directories from the same repo using git worktree but I doubt github desktop has that functionality through the GUI, might be possible if you are comfortable doing some command line work. Otherwise your best choice might be...

Re: Topological Naming, My Take

Sorry guys, you have hijacked someone else's thread, I think the moderators should split irrelevant discussions, I come to this thread to look for an update about the merging of realthunder's implementation. Discussions about toponaming aren't off topic. There's probably going to be an announcement...

Re: Let's talk about the test/build environment

I think cache for PRs are isolated from each other but the PR cache should have access to the master branch cache. btw I don't see the point in using the date for the cache name, why not just the run_number? The cache is supposed to use the latest matching cache anyways so having the date in the nam...

leoheck ans easyw-fc please both de-escalate and try to be more polite in the future, and when discussing a feature request I would appreciate if the focus was on the merit of the idea and of the objections rather than of the person behind or against it.

Re: How to make everything in one window instead of two separate ones?

double click doesn't work? gnome's wm seems pretty buggy regarding this type of things. Instead of messing aroud with that you can reset the default position by removing the $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/FreeCAD/FreeCAD.conf file, when $XDG_DATA_HOME is not set this defaults to ~/.config, if you are using the sn...

Re: GUI not working

Doesn't Gnome have settings for font size??? Use that instead if it exist. Otherwise you could set the Qt specific env variables or edit your FreeCAD desktop files so it launches with those variables.

Re: How should I make a derivative from my theme?

it keeps asking me to merge light with the main branch where? if you mean on github when you open your repo, that's just a quick access button for a frequently used command, you don't need to merge anything if you don't want to. I'm not sure what are the implications for the addon manager of having...

Re: How to reference document/global properties?

DynamicData isn't any different on that regard AFAIk, if you stuff that is fully independent and shouldn't trigger a recompute of some stuff you might need to create several containers/spreadsheets.

Re: [Feature Request] Concentric constraint in the Sketcher

Yes, that should be sufficient as long as there are no 3D sketches in the Sketcher. It seems to be the best solution at the moment. If 3D sketching is ever implemented it would likely be a full rewrite or separate implementation anyways so I don't think we should even care about the 3D case nuances...
