it's probably easier than you think. the people who work with solidworks etc. only need to export it as stp or stl etc., freecad can import that and you can continue working with it in freecad Thank you for this. We want the files to be easy to modify in the future, which seems to exclude importing...

Not sure what "lens_jig NEEDS TO BE UPDATED FIRST" means but here is a recreation of what is currently in the repository: This meant that we preferred if Frankie spent time refining the jig before people spent the time recreating it. However, I will put what we have into review. tarek : )

The maintainers at github in charge of the project are the ones who changed it to a relative path. I had it in e:\downloads\fonts when I made the model. This is correct. I did not know I was walking us all into a shitstorm when I did this. I tested in GNU/Linux using the snap release and it worked,...
